Weekend Wheel Throwing Workshop
September 19 @ 10:00 am – September 20 @ 1:00 pm
Organizer: Serenbe
Join us for a Weekend Wheel Throwing Workshop, where you’ll immerse yourself in the art of pottery on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 1 PM. Over two sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, focusing on centering and pulling walls to create beautiful pieces to keep or gift. Participants will also explore shaping techniques through trimming, and if time allows, may learn to attach handles, carve, and more. Each attendee will create around four pieces, which we will glaze with custom finishes. This workshop requires at least three participants and is open to those aged 16 and older. Ticket purchase includes admission for both days along with all necessary materials—clay, underglaze, glaze, and firing. Please note that we cannot accommodate or reimburse for missed classes. Enjoy a break for coffee or snacks during the sessions!
